PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
CONNECT WITH POTENTIAL NEW EMPLOYEES
In these changing times where job roles are evolving and new employment opportunities are identified in
response to the growing needs of business and industry, it is often difficult to connect with potential new
employees.
Through the Australian Government’s Career Advice Australia initiative, NSW Business Chamber, Mid
Coast Youth Career Services and TAFE NSW are coordinating a local Business Industry Showcase to aid
communication between young people, their parents and local businesses. The Business Industry
Showcase will provide an opportunity to increase awareness about current and future opportunities
within a range of industry sectors. Exhibitors will be able to promote their business to young people across
the region from Kempsey to Taree.
You are invited to participate in this important local event and maximise the exposure your business has
within the community. The 2008 event had over 80 exhibits and 1000 people in attendance throughout
the day.
By exhibiting at the Business Industry Showcase your organisation will have the unique opportunity to:
• Talk about your industry
• Promote opportunities for employment
• Explain specific employment requirements to students, parents and teachers
• Provide practical demonstrations of activities in your workplace
• Network with other exhibitors
There will be no charge and morning tea and lunch will be provided for exhibitors. The Business Industry
Showcase will open to the schools and public from 9.00am to 3.30pm and be followed by Exhibitor
Networking at 4.00pm.
Please complete the registration form and return it by 9 April 2009.
